FIMA
FIMA is a community formed by its members and administered by Hermia Ltd.
FIMA’s membership is open to all companies and research institutes with activity in Finland which are engaged in manufacture, product development or research in the field of mobile work machines.
The highest decision-making body is FIMA’s annual general meeting of its members. The meeting outlines FIMA’s research strategies and makes decisions concerning its finances and action plan.
Operative activity is led by FIMA’s board, which comprises representatives of its members. The board makes decisions concerning individual research projects and launches working groups.
All projects are planned and prepared in working groups which are open to all members. The theme groups and all members can make proposals to the board in regard to the themes of working groups and projects.
The task of FIMA’s secretary general is to administer and coordinate FIMA’s activity in accordance with the instructions given by the board. The secretary general implements the annual general meeting, the board’s action plans and operations prescribed by the board.
