Hermia Ltd is responsible for the implementation of the Tampere Region Centre of Expertise Programme and, during the programme period 2007-2013, for the implementation of centres of expertise in intelligent machines, ubiquitous computing, digibusiness, nanotechnology, and energy technology.
We act as the initiator, organizer and developer of research, training and cooperation between companies, and build the prerequisites for internationally competitive business activity. Company-oriented training, development and cooperation projects are implemented in each field of expertise.
Preliminary assessments and project preparation are also implemented through the Centre of Expertise programme.

Centre of Expertise programme as a development tool
The national Centre of Expertise programme aims to forward business and employment by drawing on leading-edge expertise. The programme is based on specialization and cooperation between regions. Finland’s internationally competitive centres of expertise also attract companies, experts and investment from abroad.
